Medicinal preparations; disinfectants.-Crystalline compounds having disinfecting and therapeutic properties, are produced by the addition to phenols or mixtures of phenols, of alkali carbonates or hydrates, with or without the addition of a suitable solvent such as benzene. Compounds of the types C6H5OKÀ3 C6H5ÀOH and C6H5ÀONaÀ2 C6H5OH are produced.
