Golf.-To teach the correct method of holding a golf club or other similar implement for use in games, and to ensure a good grip, it is indented in positions to suit a player who holds the club correctly ; or, the correct position of the hands is shown by forming marks on the club. A cast may be taken of the grip of a correct player, and from this moulds or dies are formed. From these moulds, the grip parts of the club are formed of rubber, fibre, papier mÔchÚ, &c., and are attached to the clubs. The indentations may be burnt on the angle by a heated mould ; or, the handle may be softened by steam, and the grip impressed by dies and pressure.
