226. Rogers, I. K. Jan. 5. Feeding.appliances for animals.-Sucking tubes or teats for use in weaning calves and other young animals are employed with any vessel holding liquid food. To a float A are attached two teats C of vulcanized rubber, skin, or other material so shaped that each can act as mouthpiece or supply end. The calf, in using the appliance, depresses it below the surface of the food and thus soon learns to feed itself.
