Electric forceps and probes.-The forceps used in connexion with a telephonic or other electric bullet detector are constructed with an enlargement C on one of the bows, through which passes the looped pin D, for attachment to the wires. The jaws B of the forceps are grooved, as shown in Fig. 3, so that the bullet may first be located by means of a probe attached to the telephone &c., and after which the forceps can be passed along the probe till the bullet is reached.
