19,223. Halligan, B. Sept. 23. Receipts, checking.-Receipt forms constituting duplicate continuous sheets are stored on a roller e within a case a, shown in transverse section. From the roller they are fed, respectively, over and under a sheet d of carbon paper, held by a frame which is hinged to a platform b situated under an elongated aperture in the hinged cover of the case. The lower sheet is wound on a roller f. and the upper one may be perforated for tearing off. The spingles of the rollers e, f, the latter of which is provided with a milled head, are mounted in holes in one end of the case and in slots in the other end. A number of pairs of rollers may be arranged within a box similar to a folding writing-desk.
