Post cards; letter-cards. -A post card, letter-card, or the like, more particularly intended for business purposes, is provided with a detachable strip to receive shorthand &c. notes, which notes are visible while the card is being typed in a typewriting machine. Fig. 1 shows a post card 1 having perforations forming detachable strips 2, 3, 4, the last of which is for notes of the matter to be typed on the card. The strips 2, 3 serve to hold and guide the card in the typewriter. The strip 2 may be used to write the address upon, or it may be omitted. A number of cards with their detachable strips may be formed in one length. A thin sheet of paper, to receive a print of the matter, a copy being simultaneously typed on the card by means of carbon paper, may be attached at one of its edges to the strip 2, or to a detachable strip at the side &c.
