Combination tools. -Tools such as claw bars, hatchets, and hammers having claws for drawing nails or spikes have a plurality of claw slots, whereby a nail may be extracted without bending by being withdrawn in stages. The invention is shown in Fig. 1 applied to a hammer. The hammer head 3 has a starting claw slot 7, extending nearly to the handle, and running diagonally towards the centre of the head, and a finishing claw slot 8 at the side of the starting claw slot. In use, the starting-claw is placed on the nail in the usual manner and the nail i.s drawn out as far as possible without bending it. The withdrawal of the nail is completed by the finishing-claw.
