Poultry houses; cages; traps.-Relates to means for preventing the access of red mites and other vermin to the perches, nest brackets, and other utensils in bird-cages, poultry houses, and the like, and consists in attaching a cup to the support in such a way that the insects cannot reach the perch without crossing the cup which may be filled with some liquid or other material to destroy or detain the insects. The Specification describes a number of ways of carrying the invention into effect, some of which are shown in the Figures, in which f represents the cups, c the perches, and v the nest pan.
