摘要
26,611. Renfors, H. Nov. 23. Umbrellas and walking-sticks combined with small-arms. A revolver, Browning pistol, or similar fire-arm is secured to a walking-stick, umbrella, scabbard, &c., either by means of a clip secured directly to the butt or cartridge magazine of the fire-arm; or by a double clip which grips both the butt or stock of the fire-arm and the stick &c. When two clips are used, they may be riveted together or connected by a strap such as c, Fig. 11. The clips may be made of metal plate &c., and the revolver &c. butt may be secured in the clip by screws, Fig. 1, or the holder may be an open clip, Fig. 2, into which the revolver &c. butt is sprung and in which it may be further retained by cords, india-rubber rings, or by a spring, or it may be held in the clip by several straps, Fig. 8, secured by hooks or buttons of known type. In the form of clip shown in Fig. 6, a spring tongue f and thumb-screw are provided to grip the revolver &c. butt. In another arrangement, the clip is made up of two hinged parts secured by hooks. The clip for the stick may be a tube slotted as shown in Fig. 12. The clips may be of steel wire wound in the form of a spiral.
