Turbines.-Power water for a water-wheel or other water-motor c is stored in an elevated reservoir b during periods of low consumption of power, and during periods of great consumption the water drives a second water-motor as it falls to a low reservoir a, Figs. 1 and 2. A body of water separate from the main actuating-current for the motor is thus stored alternately in the reservoirs a, b.
