Mops, squeegees, and like cleansing-appliances.-A flexible device for cleaning and polishing glass, metal, plate, parts of motor-cars, &c., and for other analogous purposes, comprises tufts, rolls, or folded pieces of leather or other suitable flexible material secured to a backing of canvas or other flexible material. The tufts &c. B are secured by stitching or by staples, eyelets, &c. to the backing A, which may be made in the form of a fingerless glove as shown in Fig. 1, or it may be provided with a pocket for the finger ends and a tightening-strap at the wrist, or be made in any other suitable form.
