Screw propellers.-The blades B are feathered by causing the square or rectangular portions of pins P, carried by the guided plate M attached to the slide rod R, to engage in radial slots E formed in disks D carried by the blade shanks S. When two blades are fitted, a sliding ulate is used, whereas triangular or rectangular blocks are used for three or four bladed propellers, respectively.
