The invention is described as applied to a clothesmaiden. The drilled sections A, B of the preferably cylindrical central upright are threaded upon a dowel pin C and are provided at one side with ribs a, b, in which are secured the cross-bars D, F of the leaves attached at the other end to the usual legs E. E1. The pin C is removably retained by a head G secured to it by a peg &c.
