Paving tramways; draining channels. -Rail anchors are grooved at G, G1 to collect water from the rails, rail beds, and paving into a main channel H in the casting and thence into an outlet I and drain K. Grooves M, M1 in the bottom of the casting also connect to the drain K. The anchor has side flanges to support the rail and the setts, and has one or more openings 0, with covers, for flushing the channel H.
