2299. Taylor, W. Jan. 30. Railways for recreation; giant see-saws.-Around a seesaw frame e is arranged a track f on which people may slide on mats, ride in cars, or walk. The frame e is rocked on a fixed frame by a crank-rod on a worm-driven wheel, or by other means. The track commences at the point g and finishes at the portion m leading to a shoot n in the neighbourhood of the axle, where there is little or no motion. The framework e may carry wires along which devices resembling aeroplanes &c. may travel.
