Bed-lifts.-Relates to devices for enabling invalids to raise themselves from a recumbent position, and for similar uses, and of the kind having a handle and adapted to be secured by a hook and eye around the bed rail &c. The strap a, f is provided at one end and in the middle with rings c, e large enough to be grasped by both bands, and with securing-means comprising eyelets b, a rectangular buckle, or a buckle of the form shown in Fig. 4, and hooks d. Cross-bars may be substituted for the rings c, e. The strap a, f may be made of leather, canvas, silk, &c. The rings c, e may be covered with similar materials, and are preferably made of resilient material such as cord.
