Coating - compositions; coating processes. - Iron, steel, and like articles, such as railway materials stored in the open air, rolled wire, &c., are preserved and protected from rusting by being sprinkled by a syringe or other apparatus with water containing a small proportion of an oily emulsion or emulsifiable material, such as turkey-red oil. Reference has been directed by the Clomptroller to Specification 17,118/96.
