Clips, flexible-jaw; grips, friction.-A device for suspending billiard cues, when not in use, of the kind having jaws to grip the cue, comprises a cap a, Fig. 1, of wood, metal, &c., having slots c forming jaws to grip the cue b, and held together by means of a screw clamp. The clamp comprises a screwed pin d and a fly-nut e. Any suitable form of screw clamp may be used, such as a ring surrounding the jaws and held by a set-screw; or the jaws may be threaded externally, Fig. 3, to receive an internally-threaded ring; or, again, the clamps may consist of two semicircular bands held together by set-screws.
