[Addition to 7766/04.] Extrusion machines ; moulding pipes &c.-The cylinder 8 is movably mounted upon hydraulic plungers, and carries a platform 5 adapted to support a truck 23 carrying a charge t of material. The drawplate 4 is fixed, and is fitted with a cover 3 detachably held by bolts 6. In use, the cylinder 8 is first raised to bring the platform 5 level with the trolly tracks and the trolly 23 run on to the platform, which is then lowered into the position shown and the charge t introduced between the cylinder 8 and the drawplate 4 ; the cylinder 8 is then raised to enclose the material, after which the plungers 9, 10 are operated as before.
