Cooling water.-A radiator for motoromnibuses &c. consists of a box connected at its upper and lower ends to the motor jackets, and formed with downwardly-directed airinlets in the front and with air-outlets at the rear. Water from the motor jackets passes to a tank 1, whence it flows through a perforated base 11 to inclined plates 3, 6 which extend inwards in front of the air inlets and outlets. The plates 3 have their ends 31 formed so as to guide the entering air between the plates. The outlets 5 may have external shields 9. An opening 14 is formed for the starting- handle. An additional air-outlet 8 may be provided. The plates 3 may be removable.
