Memorandum appliances. - Relates to appliances of the kind in which original and duplicate strips are wound from a roll, the original being fed from the appliance and the duplicate stored on a second roll. A recording- strip for receiving totals &c. is mounted on spools a2, and a pair of scissor blades m is provided for cutting the original strip a. The winding-spool is rotated through intermediate gearing by means of a handle o fitted with a clutch. The carbon paper &c. may be wound on spools which receive a feeding motion from the handle o, and are mounted on a rocking member for reversing the feed. A grid z prevents access to the duplicate strip.
