22,816. Mymms, W. H. Oct. 3. Leathers or sweat bands are made of straw &c., and edged with silk, leather, &c., porous or perforated to promote ventilation. The straw &c., either in the natural state or dressed and bleached, is hand or machine woven, either with or without silk or like thread. In using pipe straws, each straw a is bent double, and the band is woven by threads b, b1 at the top and bottom. A perforated band of leather &c. c is sewn, whipped, or brachered to the lower edge.
