Stoves for disinfecting etc.; air moisteners.- A gas or like stove for humidifying, perfuming, and disinfecting the air of a sick room &c. consists of a water chamber d with an inlet l for conducting cold air over the surface of the liquid. The air, which is preferably drawn from outside the room, mixes with the vapour in the chamber d, and is discharged through frusto-conical apertures in the lid f. In a modification, a similarly-perforated partition is suspended beneath the lid f and above the water surface, and suitable receptacles are provided in the chamber d for disinfectants and perfumes. The combustion products from the burner b are led away through a flue k. A water gauge m and tap n are fitted.
