Partitioned chamber revolving in liquid; driving pumps.-For ensuring a regular flow of gas through an automatic gas-analysis recorder, a pumping-drum is driven at a regular speed by a water-wheel, and is enclosed in a casing attached to the discharge-pipe of the recorder. The casing 1 contains a pump 2, of the partitioned-chamber type, revolving in water to a level 1x. The shaft 3 is geared to a shaft 5 of a water-wheel 6 in a casing 7, the wheel being operated by water from the tank 7w passing through the nozzle 7x. The tank is connected by a pipe 10 with the usual water-discharge pipe of the recorder, the gas-discharge pipe thereof being connected with the casing 1 by a pipe 8. A discharge pipe 9 leads from within the drum above water-level.
