Contents, facilitating access to; fittings, internal.-A holder for plumes and similar articles comprises a box with a folding front 12 having a partly-detached lining 18 apertured at 20 to receive the heels of the plume stems 21 bent at right-angles to the stem, latches 23 being used to secure the heels between the lining 18 and the flap 12. When the front is closed, the plumes are moved into the compartments 25 formed by partitions 24. The front has end flaps 15 provided with fasteners 17 adapted to engage the sides of the box. In a modification, the box may be made to contain a single plume, which is held beneath a flap formed by an incision in the lining 18 and held by a latch.
