Lids and covers. - A lid for basins, buckets, lard-pans, &c. consists of a disk a, with or without a depending flange, and two arms b, which are eccentrically pivoted at c and are formed with hooked ends. The lid is placed in position, and the arms b are swung from the position shown in dotted lines to that shown by full lines, the hooked ends engaging the rim of the vessel.
