Pontoon rafts.-Life-saving apparatus for use in the case of shipwreck comprises a cage of latticework of steel &c., having the shape of an equilateral triangular prism. The edges of the prism are comprised of hollow cylinders, and similar cylinders are attached to the sides. A number of receptacles M, N may be used as seats and serve as receptacles for food &c. A rudder and oars are provided for manoeuvring. Entrance is effected at the ends.
