Fire-tubes, arrangements of superheating- tubes in. - A U-sliaped superheating-tube inserted in an unenlarged fire-tube E is made D-shape in cross-section, the flat sides being placed close together so as to leave an annular space G between the superheating-tube and the fire-tube. Supports F resting on the bottom of the fire-tube are secured between the branches of the U-tube. The bend D is formed by shaping and welding together the ends of the limbs B, C.
