The first halfpenny slips down between abutments a4, c3 on the slide and bolt respectively and rests in an inclined seating h2 on a lever h pivoted to the framework, being guided in its passage by a tipping lug i on the face plate. The second halfpenny is supported in a vertical position on the upper face of the first halfpenny between the abutments a4, c3. Members f, g on the slide and bolt, respectively, serve to retain the second halfpenny in the vertical position. The lever h is rocked by a projection k on the bolt to discharge the halfpennies one by one.
