Protective arrangements.-In electric protective arrangements of the kind described in Specifications 27,312/10 and 27,560/11, the potential coils E of the wattmeter relays are excited from delta-connected secondaries of transformers B, the primaries of which are star-connected and have the neutral points earthed through condensers C1, C2. Condensers may be similarly employed at the generating station. Choking-coils CC2 are inserted in the main-line wires of each consumer's station.
