Jackets and covers.-A protective shield for pneumatic tyres consists of a hollow ring of celluloid or like material in one piece, which is open on the inner periphery to allow the airtube to be placed in it. The edges of the opening are rounded. According to the Provisional Specification, the edges of the opening may be scarfed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 13,055/91.
