Appliances for facilitating putting-on garments; sleeves.-A device to prevent half-length sleeves of blouses from riding up when the jacket or mantle is put on, comprises a string 2 passing through one or more eyes 4 on the end of the sleeve 1 and fastened to a ring 5 attached to a' piece of elastic ribbon 3 sewn inside the sleeve by a ring 6. In the modification shown in Fig. 30, a string 9 passes through eyes 8 fastened to a strip 7 attached to the sleeve. In both cases, the string is pulled down and held by the hand, to retain the sleeve in position.
