Azo dyes, forming on the material.-Green shades are obtained by diazotizing on the fibre and developing with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone, acetoaceticanilide, phenol, resorcin, &c. or by developing with diazotized p-nitraniline &c. the secondary disazo and trisazo dyes produced by combining diazo or diazoazo compounds with 1-amino-2-naphthol ethers or their derivatives, rediazotizing, and combining with such derivatives of 2:5:7- or 2:8:6- aminonaphthol sulphonic acid as contain diazotizable heteronuclear amino groups.
