Recoil apparatus. - Relates to anchoring- devices for field carriages, of the kind having a spade or foundation plate arranged centrally between the wheels. According to the invention, an upwardly-extending arm G is loosely mounted on a vertical pin f2 on the spade F, F1 or foundation plate, and bears against a front face h1 on the dropped axle H. The sleeve g2 of the arm G is connected to the trail cheeks C by a detachable forked rod J. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) states also that play may be allowed in the joints of the rod J, and that the rod may be in two parts with a swivel connexion. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
