[Addition to 28,023/13.] Recoil apparatus.-Consists in an arrangement whereby the centre-pivot anchoring-device described in the parent Specification is caused to function during the counter-recoil as well as during the recoil. The abutment D on the front of the carriage for the arm B of the anchoring-device is forked and supports a removable bolt E in front of the arm B. The tension rod F connecting the anchoring-device to the trail is also forked and carries a removable cam-bolt H, which bears against the front face of the sleeve b1 of the arm B.
