Composing-sticks.-A slide for use with printers' composing-sticks d, in addition to the ordinary slide s, consists of a double-sided recessed member formed by a rectangular base, two side walls b, and an end wall c. The outer faces of the walls b, c are at right-angles to the base. The inner face of the end wall c is preferably inclined ; an ordinary screw clamp g embraces the wall c and the flange e of the stick d.
