[Cognate Application, 7/15.] Moulding walls in situ.-The mould boxes or boards B are supported by frames A in such a manner that they can be moved both vertically and longitndinally. As shown in Fig. 2, the boards are supported by holders K in which they can slide longitudinally, the holders being furnished with clips k1 embracing T-shaped portions of the frames A. The holders are supported by cables b1 passing over pulleys a1 on cantilevers M and over winding- drums a2. Instead of the holders K, the cables b1 may be secured to shanks slidably engaging slots in the upper edges of the boards. Fig. 16 shows a modification in which the frames A are of channel section and are provided with angle members a4 forming recesses a5 to receive one end of shanks k3, the other ends of which engage grooves b2 in the faces of the boards. The ends of the boards are provided with metal plates b3, Fig. 6, furnished with tapped holes b4 for securing an end plate F1, Fig. 7, an angle connexion H, Fig. 13, or a plate h1, Fig. 14, for securing two boards end to end. The mould-boards may be spaced apart by angle-irons D, Fig. 6, secured by bolts passing. through slots d2 and the slots b2 and connected by bolts d3 and sleeves d4; or by n-shaped members d5, Fig. 15. Partitions J, Fig. 7, may be suspended from the sleeves d4 by hooks j1. One set of pulleys a1, Fig. 2, is adjustable in slots m2, according to the spacing of the mould-boards. The cantilevers M may be detachably secured by clips m1, so that the height of the sections A can be increased, and their inner ends may be furnished with a pulley whereby materials may be elevated. Blocks of wood may be positioned within the moulds to form flues &c. or to remain within the wall for the attachment of the skirting, picture rail, &c. Dovetail or V-shaped members are inserted in the ends or sides of the mouldboxes to form dovetail recesses for keying the adjacent sections of wall together. Provisional Specification 15,910/14 describes an arrangement of mould-boxes whereby a number of spaced blocks are formed, the spaces being filled in by the use of a second set of open mouldboxes which engage with the extremities of the blocks already formed.
