24,312. Jackson, W. J. Mellersh-, [West Disinfecting Co.]. July 16. Closets &c., disinfecting.-Automatic pump apparatus for supplying liquid disinfectant is of the construction shown. When the cover 9 is closed, a piston 73 is raised, and disinfectant passes from a tank 71 into a cylinder 72 by way of a hole 78. On the cover being opened, the piston descends and forces the disinfectant along a passage 80 into the receptacle. The tank 71 is supplied from a glass reservoir 82 on the bird-fountain principle.
