Picture and like frames.-Frames for photographs, pictures, show cards, &c. comprise four channelled sections a of metal, wood, or celluloid, to each of which are connected one or more flexible attachments e adapted to be secured to the picture or backing by means of adhesive when the frame has been put together around the glass b, picture c, and backing d. The attachments e of paper, linen, or other flexible material are connected to the frame sections by means of tongues e1 which are passed through slots a2 and then folded down and secured to the attachments with adhesive. The channels of the frame sections may be of equal width throughout, as shown in Fig. 2, or may be made wedge-shaped so as to be narrower at the top a3 than at the bottom a'.
