Boilers and liquidheating containers, arrangement of. - Comprises a modification of the arrangement of the boilers of cooking-ranges described in Specification 21,030/05, the invention being also adapted to open fire-places. Figs. 1 and 3 show the arrangement in a kitchen range. The boiler flue is formed by a preferably curved plate h behind the coving, which, adjacent to the auxiliary boiler or supply tank a, is extended forwards to form a casing b for the front parts of the boiler a, and to form above the hot-plate a space wherein the close-and-open hood f is fitted. A platewarming or like shelf j and a cleaning-door i are fitted above the boiler. Fig. 4 shows an open fireplace with the improvements adapted to it; the boiler is in and behind the casing b, beneath which is a hood f hinged at its upper edge. The coviugs o are brought forward so as to be nearly in line with the front plate p if narrow bobs d are provided, or in line with it if there are no hobs.
