Mattresses and cushions.-A water bed, cushion, or the like, of the type having a screwthreaded stopper adapted to engage a threaded ferrule embedded in the neck of a bottle, has the neck of the bed built up above the ferrule to form a seat for the stopper. In the form shown, the ferrule a, which has projections a3 as described in Specification 28,744/13, has a flange a1 also provided with projections, and the neck c of the bottle is continued above this flange to form a seat b1 for the stopper b2. In a modification, the seat of the neck above the flange is formed from a separate piece of rubber. The flange on the ferrule may be dispensed with.
