摘要
100,483. Heberlein & Co. May 19, 1915, [Convention date]. Inkless printing by chemical reaction; resist printing.-Designs are produced on cotton fabrics by printing them alternately with concentrated sulphuric acid and concentrated alkali lye, the fabric being treated at least twice by the acid and once by the alkali or vice versa, or the fabric may be printed initially with a resist and treated with alternate baths of acid and alkali, or the resist may be applied between any two of the baths. Instead of sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid of 55 to 57‹ BÚ., hydrochloric acid at a low temperature, nitric acid of 43 to 46‹ Re., or zinc chloride solution of 66‹ BÚ. at from 60 to 70‹ C. may be employed. Specifications 12,559/14 and 13,129/14 are referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) mentions also the use of copper oxide ammonia solution instead of sulphuric acid. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
