Adjusting parts of implements; cultivators; seed distributors.-To apply pressure to the coulters of seed drills or the tines of scuffles or similar implements, a transverse bar 25 resting on all the draw-bars 3 of the coulters 1 is pivoted to a number of links 21 connected at one end to the hanger bar 5 of the coulters, and at the other end swivelled to sliding collars 19 pressed downwardly along rods 14 by springs 13. The compression of the springs 13 is adjustable by adjusting the position of pins 15. The upper ends of the rods 14 are connected to straps 17 fitted round the barrel 8, which is swung about a pivot 10 by means of a hand-lever 12 to draw up chains 7, thus lifting the coulters when desired. The movement of the lever 12 thus also releases the pressure on the draw-bars due to the springs 13. The coulters are locked in the raised position by the axes of the rods 14 passing the centre of the pivot 10, a stop 26 preventing further movement of the barrel 8.
