The mould a is soaked in water, the worn face cut away, and a pouring-hole d provided. The mould is then inverted over a case e, and liquid plaster poured in, filling the space f Instead of cutting away the worn face, a pouring-hole may be formed and the mould inverted over a smaller case, or a case of the same size may be used, a space f being obtained by slightly raising the case. In relining moulds made in sections, each section is treated separately.
