Central driving-wheel locomotives. - An internalcombustion engine a adapted to use gaseous fuel is provided with means to drive the guide-rail wheels r or the centre-rail wheels f or both, and with means to drive an electric generator 1 and an electric motor 4 to afford electric driving for the guide-rail wheels r or the centre-rail wheels f or both.
