Pianoforte actions.-An upright action similar to a horizontal action has a forwardly-extending repetition lever 6 pivoted in a block 5 upon the usual lever 2. The hopper 11 passes through a slot in the lever 6, and is connected by a tie 13 to a spring 14 adjustable by a screw 15 on the repetition lever. The movement of the lever 6 is regulated by screws 16, 26. The block 5 acts upon a grub-screw 20 in the damper tail.
