Cutting and slicing vegetables &c.-Handtools for cutting up animal or human food each comprise a number of blades mounted in a frame in such a way that each blade is reversibly and interchangeably fixed without the use of separate securing means. Fig. 1 shows a tool for cutting up domestic waste in a bucket, for pigs &c. The thin steel blades b have both edges sharpened, and are provided with projections c which are sprung into slots in the metal frame a. The frame is fastened to a fork or stirrup d which is extended in the form of a shaft e and provided with a wooden handle f. In a modification for cutting up human food on a table &c., arms extend vertically upwards from the frame and are connected by a handle.
