Hand-trucks.-A wheeled carrier for lifting and removing bedsteads with their occupants consists of an open rectangular frame A, supported on two preferably pneumatic-tyred wheels B1, which is placed over and around the bedstead and tilted successively towards each end to enable pairs of hooks E1, E111, carried by the revoluble ends C, C' of the frame A, to be swung under the ends of the bedstead H shown in dotted lines. A movable arched stay F strengthens the frame A. The carrier rests on a pair of small wheels G when not in use. The foot of the bed may be supported on a transverse rod carried by sockets J, instead of in the hooks E111. The hooks E1, E111 are preferably spring-mounted. The Provisional Specification states that the hooks at one end are fixed.
