Brackets, lamp.-A lamp for use on motor-cars, motor-cycles, and other vehicles is supported on a bracket so as to be adjustable about both a vertical and an horizontal axis by means of worm gearing. The lamp body 1 is formed with a depending tongue 2 pivoted on a screw pin 5 between the jaws of a fork 3 carried by a pillar 4 mounted in a socket 11 on the vehicle. The lamp is adjustable about an horizontal axis by means of a worm spindle 9 engaging worm teeth 7 cut on the tongue 2. The worm spindle 9 is mounted at one end in the fork 3, and at the other end in a bush 12 screwing into the fork 3. The lamp may be locked, when adjusted, by tightening a nut 6 on the pin 5. The lamp is adjustable about a vertical axis by means of a worm spindle 15 similarly mounted in a collar 16 on the socket 11 and engaging worm teeth 17 on the pillar 4.
