Maps.-To aid in finding any desired position on a combined guide-map of the kind described in the parent Specification the obverse or reverse side of the map has printed on it a diagram consisting of lines of numerals at any desired distance apart, one above the other from the top to the bottom of the sheet, and in ascending order reading from left to right, and lines of letters between each line of numerals and directly under the latter in ascending order reading from top to bottom. The map is thus divided up so that it can be seen which points correspond to the various letters or numerals. The map is preferably made transparent, or the diagram may be printed on a separate transparent sheet to be placed over the map, and an index is formed and printed on the edge. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also wall maps -having the numerals printed along the top or on the bar which is formed with reference holes or projections, the letters being carried by a rigid rule, preferably transparent, and adapted to be moved along the bar. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
